Tawny has been teaching yoga at the Cal Poly Recreation Center since 2003. Tawny graduated from Cal Poly in 2007 with a degree in nutrition. She is now a mother, a yoga teacher, a yoga-teacher trainer, a doula, a circle guide, and a happy nature enthusiast. She has been teaching yoga for 15 years and leading women’s circles and retreats for the last 10 years. Tawny is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)-500 hour and co-founder of mBODY YOGA, a studio she owned for eight years in San Luis Obispo. Certified in both Kundalini yoga and Hatha yoga — through LEVITYoga — Tawny’s passion for life and warm presence makes her teaching style very approachable and accessible to students of all levels. She enjoys supporting people to trust the intelligence and wisdom found within their bodies.
