Mustang Mile 2024 Wednesday, May 15, 2024 6:30 pm - 8 pm Public Event The 12th Annual Mustang Mile is back! This 5K honors the memory of Carson Starkey, who lost his life to alcohol poisoning after a fraternity hazing incident. Mustang Mile hopes to provide health and wellness resources that educate students on the signs of alcohol poisoning and the dangers of binge drinking. SLO Mama Sweets and Woodstock’s Pizza will be available for attendees to enjoy. The band Magnolia and DJ Traveling Haus will be providing entertainment throughout the event. Costumes are encouraged! Registration opens April 30, 2024 at 8 a.m., participation is $15 for individuals and $40 for a team of four. The first 250 students to sign up also receive a complimentary t-shirt and swag bag filled with various items.
