ASI Events Fall Concert Featuring BETWEEN FRIENDS!

ASI Events presents a special DJ performance by BETWEEN FRIENDS! Join us for a night of live music at the Cal Poly Recreation Center, Main Gym (Building 43) on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Doors open at 6 p.m., and a student DJ will take the stage starting at 7 p.m. A valid PolyCard and government issued photo-ID is required for entry.

Secure your spot and register online through the Cal Poly ticket office, starting on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. In-person ticket registration is not available. Tickets can only be obtained through online registration.  

BETWEEN FRIENDS is a lifelong musical collaboration and experiment in creativity between brother-sister duo Sav and Brandon Hudson. Raised in Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles, they have been creating music together since childhood, nurturing an artistic relationship that defies labels and pushes the boundaries of experimental pop through a glitchy, eclectic sonic environment. Known for their effortless aesthetic, sleek production, infectious hooks, and emotionally sharp songwriting, they have built a devoted following through their distinct visual world and DIY approach.

Emerging in 2019 with their breakout EP we just need some time together, BETWEEN FRIENDS quickly became a staple of bedroom pop. The duo’s standout track “affection” resonated globally, amassing more than 600 million streams. Over the next few years, the duo expanded its discography with a series of ambitious releases, including i like when you shine! (2021), I Love My Girl, She’s My Boy (2023), several singles and mini-EPs, and most recently, their critically acclaimed sophomore album, WOW!, which arrived in August 2025. Featuring standout tracks including “Jam,” “DJ,” and “XD,” WOW! was followed by a sold-out headlining tour across North America and Europe. The duo’s 2026 calendar includes a major festival run, further solidifying their place as one of the most forward-thinking and visually cohesive acts in contemporary pop.

Important Ticket Information: Tickets are limited to one per person. Ticket transfers will not be permitted for this show, as pre-registration, waiver signing, and wristbands are required for entry. There will be no standby line.

Waiver & Wristband Registration: Once a participant successfully registers for a ticket, a signed waiver and wristband are required for admission to the concert. Waivers must be completed in advance by visiting the ASI booth at one of the times indicated below.

There will be two opportunities to pre-register and receive your wristband:

• Monday, Oct. 5 from noon–4 p.m. in the University Union Plaza
• Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m.–noon in the University Union Plaza

Please bring your government-issued photo ID and PolyCard to registration. If you are 18 or older, you may sign the waiver in person at the registration station and receive your wristband. If you are under 18, please download the waiver and bring it to a registration station signed by a parent or guardian. You must have the completed waiver, along with your government-issued photo ID and PolyCard, to receive a wristband. Wristbands may not be exchanged. ASI is not responsible for lost wristbands, and lost wristbands will not be replaced.
