Hali Anaya
She/Her/Hers
Head Teacher — Orfalea Family & ASI Children's Center
Teaching Staff
Hali started her career with ASI in 2014 in the preschool program. She found her calling, however, when she moved to the infant/toddler program where she has worked as both a teacher and head teacher. In her current role, she oversees curriculum development, staff training, parent communications, and all operations of the classroom. Hali has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in education from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in early childhood education from the University of Texas. She has two children at the Children’s Center and enjoys watching them grow up in a place as loving as this one. Her favorite thing about working at ASI is the opportunity to start the child and family’s educational career in a positive, warm, and loving way that lays the foundation for a love of learning.
My goals in my professional life are to continue to both support and join families in watching their children grow into capable, caring, and curious members of our community.
