ASI Access App

The ASI Access app is your connection to the ultimate college experience. Use ASI Access for touchless entry into the Recreation Center and other ASI-managed facilities. Activate your membership, register for your favorite ASI programs, discover events, and stay up to date on facility news and closures. Download the ASI Access app from the App Store or Google Play.

 

ASI-Managed Facilities

Cal Poly Recreation Center

The Cal Poly Recreation Center is ready for summer with expanded hours, membership specials, and more!

  • Membership specials:
    • Spring 2021 graduates and continuing students receive complimentary membership to the Cal Poly Recreation Center from June 14–September 10. Learn more.
  • Summer facility closures
    • June 14–25 Lap Pool and pool deck closed due to maintenance work.
    • June 14–27 Rec Gym and locker rooms closed.
    • June 14–30 Lower Exercise Room and racquetball courts closed.
    • June 21–27 Track Exercise Room closed.
    • July 1–31 Upper Exercise Room, Exercise Studios (except Studio 3 when classes in session), South Gym, and North Gym closed.
      • Lower Exercise Room, Rec Gym, Track Exercise Room will be open instead. 

Facility Hours:

Monday–Friday: 7 a.m.–8 p.m.

Saturday–Sunday: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.

Julian A. McPhee University Union

The University Union is open for all guests!

Facility Hours:

Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

Saturday–Sunday: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

Orfalea Family and ASI Children’s Center

The Children’s Center is open with procedures in place to protect children, families, and staff. Occupancy is restricted at 65–70 children with a maximum of 12 children per classroom, per the California Department of Education/Licensing and CDC guidelines.

Facility Hours:

Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Saturday–Sunday: Closed

Cal Poly Sports Complex

Visit the Cal Poly Sports Complex for open recreation, exercise, and training. ASI will enforce a check-in procedure to ensure only Cal Poly affiliated community members can utilize the fields. Field supervisors will check Cal Poly ID cards or alumni status prior to allowing field use. Cal Poly affiliates include students, alumni, faculty, staff, and emeritus.

Facility Hours:

Upper Sports Complex

Monday–Sunday: 8 a.m.–10 p.m.

Lower Sports Complex

Monday–Sunday: 8 a.m.–10 p.m.

Doerr Family Field

Visit Doerr Family Field for open recreation, exercise, and training. ASI will enforce a check-in procedure to ensure only Cal Poly affiliated community members can utilize the fields. Field supervisors will check Cal Poly ID cards or alumni status prior to allowing field use. Cal Poly affiliates include students, alumni, faculty, staff, and emeritus.

Monday–Friday: 3–10 p.m.

Saturday–Sunday: 2–10 p.m.

Fitness

  • Work out with us! ASI Fitness will be offering virtual and in-person classes throughout the summer. Make sure to follow the Cal Poly Recreation Center on Instagram and Facebook so you don’t miss a beat, and visit ASI Recreational Sports for more information on how to join a virtual class and make an in-person reservation.

ASI Intramural Sports

  • ASI Intramural Sports will be hiring for officials soon! Make sure to sign up for our Work for ASI newsletter for updates.

ASI Poly Escapes

  • The Climbing Park will be closed for summer break from Saturday, June 12–Tuesday, Sept. 7. We look forward to seeing you in the fall quarter!
  • You can still rent climbing equipment and more from the Rental Center. Visit ASI Poly Escapes Equipment and Rentals to see updated summer hours and affordable rental equipment for your next outdoor adventure!

Aquatics

  • The Lap Pool will be closed Monday, June 14–Friday, June 25. They will reopen Saturday, June 26 for 90-minute blocks followed by a 30-minute closure.
    • Hours of operation:
      • Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
      • Saturday–Sunday: 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

 

ASI Craft Center

  • Get creative at home with virtual crafts and activities from the Craft Center! From coloring to custom art and jewelry, follow the Craft Center on Instagram and Facebook for inspiration.

 

ASI Events

  • ASI Events will be sharing event highlights from the 2020-21 school year during the summer quarter. Follow along for the best of virtual concerts, speakers, and trivia nights. Keep up with ASI Events on Instagram and Facebook to stay connected for weekly events.
