Get ready to show your Mustang pride during ASI Spirit Day! ASI Student Government invites the Cal Poly community to come together on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Dexter Lawn for games, activities and opportunities to celebrate being a Mustang. Students can stop by for lawn games like cornhole, giant Jenga and ladder toss, hang out with friends, and enjoy a fun break between classes. Students will also have the chance to participate in a chalk activity by sharing what they love about Cal Poly and what makes them proud to be a Mustang. Campus Dining will be present at the Dexter Lawn event, and SLODoCo will also be available.
This spirited celebration is a chance for students to connect with the campus community and celebrate the traditions, experiences and pride that make Cal Poly unique. Whether students are looking to play a game, grab a snack, spend time with friends or share what they love about Cal Poly, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved and show their Mustang spirit.
ASI Spirit Day Scavenger Hunt Giveaway activities will take place Sept. 28–Oct. 3. Students can earn entries into the giveaway by completing activities and submitting photos through the ASI Spirit Day Scavenger Hunt Giveaway form. More ways to enter can be found on the form, and participants can earn additional entries by completing more activities. Giveaway prizes include a JBL speaker, mini fridge and Cal Poly merch pack.
Winners will be announced at the Cal Poly football game tailgate on Saturday, Oct. 3. The tailgate will take place from 3–5 p.m. on the street next to Chase Lawn. ASI will be giving away 500 free BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs, as well as spirit merchandise. Students, faculty and staff are invited to join the celebration, connect with the campus community and enjoy an afternoon of Mustang spirit.
