ASI Dreamer & Indigenous People’s Scholarships: Applications Now Open

ASI Dreamer Scholarship

In support of the AB540 community, the ASI Board of Directors created the ASI Dreamer Scholarship. 

The Board of Directors has approved and allocated $25,000 in funding that will be awarded to Dreamers and is not restricted to any major or field of study. ASI is remains committed to advocating with and for our AB540 communities — and will continue to support Dreamers through the ASI Dreamer Scholarship. 

Through the ASI Dreamer Scholarship, ASI hopes to empower and champion our Dreamers.  

 

  • Application deadline: Sunday, Oct.16, 2022 
  • Scholarship award: $1,000–5,000 
  • Application process: To apply, use the secure general scholarship application process through your Cal Poly Portal. 
  • Eligibility requirements: 
    • Major: Open 
    • Class level: Open, full-time enrollment 
    • GPA: Minimum 2.5 
    • Students who have demonstrated campus or community leadership through extracurricular activities and achievements. 
    • Applicants should be AB540 students enrolled at Cal Poly. 

 

ASI Indigenous People’s Scholarship

The ASI Board of Directors are committed to supporting and advocating for students who are and have contributed to Indigenous communities.  

In hopes to lessen the financial burden on those students, the Board of Directors has approved and allocated $20,000 in funding to create a scholarship that embraces students that have made contributions to the Indigenous community. 

Through the ASI Indigenous People’s Scholarship, ASI aspires to allow students to focus on their studies and civic work.  

 

  • Application deadline: Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022.  
  • Scholarship award: $2,000–5,000 
  • Application process: To apply, use the secure general scholarship application process through your Cal Poly Portal. 
  • Eligibility requirements:
    • Major: Open
    • Class level: Open, full-time enrollment 
    • GPA: Minimum 2.5 
    • Students who have demonstrated contributions to American Indian and Indigenous communities. 
    • Applications will demonstrate leadership through extracurricular activities and achievements.
