The ASI Board of Directors has passed proposals for both the ASI Indigenous People’s Scholarship and the ASI Dreamers Scholarship.
ASI Indigenous People’s Scholarship
ASI has stayed committed to advocating for Indigenous students and listened to our students at the State of Indigeneity in fall quarter of 2020 who called for more support. ASI Student Government has now allocated funding that was dedicated to creating a scholarship for students who contributed to Indigenous communities for this scholarship.
Through this scholarship, ASI hopes to lessen the financial burden on students and allow them to focus on their studies and contributions to the Indigenous community.
