ASI Student Government is comprised of student leaders who seek to uphold ASI's vision of providing students with the ultimate college experience. Student leaders encourage shared governance, student advocacy and collaboration with other campus and community entities.

Student Government hosts a variety of student activities, including guest speakers, community outreach events and open forums. Student leaders are elected spring quarter.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is comprised of student-elected representatives who oversee corporate operations and approve how student fees are spent.

University Union Advisory Board

The University Union Advisory Board recommends ASI-managed facility usage via communication with the University President.

Executive Cabinet

The Executive Cabinet is a group of students appointed by the ASI President and Chief of Staff to support the ASI President's goals.

Lobby Corps

Students interested in lobbing on behalf of Cal Poly at the local and state levels are encouraged to join Cal Poly Lobby Corps. Members work with the Mayor, City Council and other community leaders to resolve community issues. Cal Poly Lobby Corps also provides students with the opportunity to travel to Sacramento to lobby State Legislature.
