Membership Types

Continuing Education/Open University

Enrolled Cal Poly Student

Recreation Center membership fees are included in the cost of Cal Poly State University tuition

Cal Poly Affiliated Student

This membership type is designed for Cal Poly students not enrolled in Cal Poly courses or are recent graduates.
-Offered Quarterly - $37
-Sales begin the week before the quarter starts and continue throughout the quarter.
-Students on leave of absence from the University may join up to TWO quarters after their last enrolled quarter.
-Graduates of Cal Poly may purchase a membership for ONE quarter after they graduate.

Continuing Education/Open University

Must bring proof of continuing education enrollment (Cal Poly id card).
-Offered Quarterly - $56
-Sales begin the week before the quarter starts and continue throughout the quarter.

Alumni

Cal Poly Alumni, who are currently members of the Alumni Association, are eligible for Recreation Center memberships. For more information on the Cal Poly Alumni Association membership, go to: http://www.alumni.calpoly.edu/membership/benefits.html.
Alumni Association Card must be presented at time of registration.

Annual Memberships $202
-Sold during Fall Quarter only.

Note: A one time $5 fee is due during initial membership registration. The fee is for an id card which allows access to the Recreation Center.

Faculty/Staff Membership

Faculty/Staff memberships are sold on a quarterly and annual basis. All members must be currently employed by Cal Poly Corporation or Cal Poly State University and show proof employment during registration (i.e. Polycard).

Annual Memberships $202
-Sold during Fall Quarter only.
-Available to Cal Poly Corporation and Cal Poly State University employees.
-Available to full-time permanent employees or employees who have an appointment for 9 months or more. (Intermittent employees not eligible)

Quarterly Passes $56
-Sales begin the week before the quarter starts and continue throughout the quarter.
-Available to Intermittent, Full-Time Staff, and Part-time Staff members.

Payroll Deduction $15/month
-Available to full-time permanent employees or employees who are appointed for 9 months or more. (Intermittent employees not eligible)
-Available to Cal Poly Corporation and Cal Poly State University employees.
-Must fill out an authorization form at the Recreation Center front Desk.

Emeritus

Emeritus must bring proof of past employment, by either bringing their Cal Poly emeritus card or a letter certifying emeritus status. Passes for Emeritus are sold on a quarterly and annual basis. Emeritus are not eligible for payroll deduction.

Spouse

Spousal memberships are available for the spouse of a current member (student/faculty/staff/alumni/emeritus). The current member must be present when a spouse is registering for a membership.

-Available ONLY to spouses of Cal Poly State University who are full-time permanent employees or employees who are appointed for 9 months or more. (Intermittent employees not eligible)
-Available for a spouse of a Cal Poly Corporation employee.

Guests

Day passes are available for guests of current Recreation Center members. One guest per Recreation Center visit.
-Students Guests are $4 with valid student id.
-Non-students guests are $8.
-All guests must fill out a waiver at the Recreation Center Front Desk.
