Welcome to the 2007-08 Cal Poly Student Club and Organization officer training, designed to inform you about important policies, procedures, programs, and services.

Please note that this registration process is intended for existing Cal Poly Student Clubs and Organizations who have bylaws on file with the University Union Epicenter. If you are interested in starting a new club, please visit the Epicenter or download the Starting a New Club packet to begin the process.

Carefully read the passages below and answer the questions that follow. Once the President and Vice President have BOTH completed the training, the Epicenter will prepare your club's charter, usually within 3 business days. Either the President or Vice President may stop by the Epicenter to pick up the 2007-2008 charter, which will need to be signed by the club's officers and advisors and returned to the Epicenter.

Please note that information in this training is not inclusive of all topics relevant to clubs, and is intended to provide an overview of many common issues and questions. For a more complete source for policies, rules, and requirements Cal Poly Clubs must follow, please refer to the Cal Poly Student Club and Organization Handbook.

Thank you for making a difference at Cal Poly by choosing to be a club leader. We hope the training will be helpful to your club's operations this year, and will provide you with the information necessary to succeed.
