Graphic Designer
( $11.70 per hour ; 5-10 hours per week )Duties: The Graphic Artist reports to the Coordinator – Public Relations. The Graphic Artist is responsible for creating and supporting the graphics needs for ASI Programs and ASI Student Government’s promotional, collateral and web site materials. The team of designers must be creative while still delivering a consistent “look” in the design, layout, artwork, and color for all promotional materials including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, logos, advertisements, T-shirts, web graphics, etc.
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in creation of original artwork. Must be a currently enrolled student at Cal Poly in a minimum of 6 units. All ASI student staff must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Graduate students must carry 4 units/3.0 GPA. Ability to be highly organized and have good planning skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. First Aid and CPR Certification required. Ability to work with diverse populations and those with special limitations or needs. Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
