INTRAMURAL SPORTS PROGRAM

The purpose of the Intramural Sports Program is to offer a variety of structured leagues, sports, and tournaments in a safe, recreationally competitive environment. Intramural Sports are open to all Cal Poly students, and alumni, faculty, and staff who are currently members of the Recreation Center.

LEVELS OF PLAY

To accommodate and satisfy a wide range of recreational participants, each sport is divided into divisions and gender leagues. We offer men’s, women’s, and co-recreational leagues. Co-Rec leagues consist of teams with both men and women playing a sport with modifications to the rules.

Division I – Highly Competitive
Division II – Moderately Competitive
Division III – Recreationally Competitive

REGISTRATION

Registration for fall intramural sports is September 24 according to the following schedule:

Registration for Intramural Sport leagues will close on Sunday, September 27. Registration for Tournaments will remain open until 2 days prior to the scheduled event. Specific sport playing days and times will be posted on asiConnect on Friday, September 18th. To view each sport's playing days and times, please click the "IM Leagues" or "Tournament" link above.

Registration will be available on-line at www.asi.calpoly.edu and at the Recreation Center Front Desk.

Employment Opportunity

The ASI Intramural Sports program is seeking enthusiastic applicants for officiating positions on campus. These paid positions provide individuals the opportunity to build leadership skills and collaborate with other Cal Poly students to create a quality intramural sports program. Those who are interested should attend the New Officials Meeting on Monday, September 28th, at 8:30 pm in Chumash Auditorium.
