The University Union provides a central campus location where students can meet friends, study, grab coffee or catch a nap between classes. The UU also houses more than a dozen internet stations and large community areas for socializing. Conference and meeting rooms are available in addition to many services for the UU Plaza, Chumash Auditorium and student lounges.
The UU Plaza is closed for renovation effective June 15. Estimated completion is April 2010.
Chumash Auditorium is a UU venue for career fairs, guest speakers, large club events and dinner and dances. The auditorium divides into sections to provide space for a few small events simultaneously or left open for one large event.
The UU Information Desk provides general campus and community information on a variety of topics including bus schedules, campus maps, campus event times and general admission information.
